Our main service

A new lawn.
In a day.

Tall fescue cut fresh at our New Jersey farm and laid on soil we build up first. Cape May County sand needs that base. No spray, till and hope. Sod is all we do.

One price. The whole job.

You do not pick from a list of extras. Every step below is part of the number.

Old lawn removed — scraped down to bare ground and carted off
Composted topsoil — cured for 12 months and laid in layers over the sand, not cheap fill
Lime, starter fertilizer and pre-emergent — mixed into the base to correct acidic New Jersey soil
Fresh tall fescue from our farm — grown for 9 months, cut the morning you get it, with no plastic mesh
Rolled with a 300 lb roller — seams pressed tight and roots touching soil, for a flat finish
30 days of aftercare — a watering plan, check-ins, and an iron and nitrogen feeding near day 21
Your sprinkler heads reset — we aim the system you already have at the new grass
Full cleanup — scraps and pallets go with us when the job is done

How it works, start to finish.

01

Send us your address

We size the yard from satellite images and text back a real price, most often that day. Nobody has to come knock on your door, which helps if this is a second home.

02

The install

Old grass out, soil built up, lime and fertilizer in, fresh rolls laid snug and rolled flat. Most yards are done by evening.

03

Thirty days of follow-up

You water on the plan we give you. We check in, feed the lawn near day 21, and stand behind it with the 30-day guarantee.

What people ask us.

How much is a new sod lawn?
We charge $2.85 a square foot, written down, for the full job. That price covers pulling the old lawn, composted topsoil, lime, starter fertilizer, fresh sod from the farm and 30 days of aftercare. A 1,500 sq ft front yard comes to about $4,275. The smallest job we take is $2,000. Your quote arrives in writing and the price holds for 30 days.
How many days will the crew be at my house?
For most yards, one day. The old grass comes up in the morning and new rolls go down that afternoon. A big property may take a second day.
Is there anything I have to do first?
Nothing. We pull the old lawn, grade, add soil, lay and roll the sod, and give it the first soak. After that you just follow the watering plan we leave with you.
What if part of the lawn does not take?
You are covered by our 30-day establishment guarantee. Follow the watering plan, and if any piece fails to root in those 30 days, we replace it at no charge. No argument.
How soon can my install happen?
During the season we can often get you in the same week you put down your deposit. The deposit is $250. It holds your date and comes off what you owe. We install from spring until the middle of October.
